‘The Heart Wreath’ Receives Three Major Awards from the Advertising Association of Thailand (AAT)

Mr. Methin Paspanthong, CEO of Carenation (Thailand), and Mr. Sorawit Huang, Project Manager of Carenation (Thailand), received three major awards at the "ADMAN AWARDS & SYMPOSIUM 2023" organized by the Advertising Association of Thailand (AAT). 

 

The awards were granted in recognition of their work on "The Heart Wreath" campaign, a collaborative effort between Carenation (Thailand), a social enterprise, and Adapter Digital, an advertising agency. They secured one Bronze award in the ‘Direct’ category (USE OF AMBIENT: SMALL SCALE) and 2 awards in the ‘Media’ category (CORPORATE PURPOSE & SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY / CORPORATE IMAGE / NOT-FOR-PROFIT / CHARITY / GOVERNMENT) and (INNOVATIVE USE OF MEDIA). These accolades were granted to recognize the impactful endeavors crafted with creativity across diverse domains.

Carenation Heart Wreath

"The Heart Wreath" initiative emerged from the collaboration between two organizations, aiming to address societal issues by presenting a new approach to utilizing wreaths not only for commemorating the departed but also for transmitting values to the society and communities. Apart from serving as a communication channel for organ donation campaigns to reach a wider audience, Carenation allocates 25% of the wreath's revenue for donations according to the buyers' preferences, providing receipts for tax deductions. The production process of the Heart Wreath underscores Carenation’s commitment to environmental sustainability by utilizing materials sourced from FSC-certified sources. Carenation not only aims to address pressing environmental concerns but also offers job opportunities to individuals from low-income backgrounds, serving as a catalyst for economic empowerment within the community.
